Sunday morning

I am here in Marietta Ohio and can't sleep. Maybe if I got off my phone and shut my eyes I would have better luck but instead I thought I would share with you.

My day started off at 7 am waking up and getting my butt to the airport. After a harmless flight to Charlotte ( a starbuckalicios airport) where I enjoyed...you guessed it some Starbucks. Then it was onto West Virginia and eventually the beautiful city of Marietta.

After settling into my hotel room it was off to the gym with great encouragement from one of the fittest people I have ever meet Stevie Richards. Had a great workout and after a quick shower it was off to the building.

The Remix pro wrestling show was awesome...lots of great people, fans and this...(see picture)

So cute!

I had such a great time and can't wait to come back.

Now I am in bed watching the Nanny and waiting for my tired to come. I think I will take my own advice and try shutting my eyes.

Good night all

  1. Stevie Richards is one of the guys I'm most impressed with in wrestling, as far as a performer and just physically in general. He reminds me of those athletes from the golden age of wrestling who worked for speed, strength, agility and endurance from all angles, not just one, and his response to injuries has just been to work smarter, work harder and to get into even better shape as he's gotten older. I use him all the time as an example for guys and girls learning to lift/workout and who need inspiration :)

  3. I was at the Remix Wrestling show in Marietta which is the first live show I've been to in about 2 years. It was sooo fun!!! I live about an hour away and when I heard you were going to be there I begged my boss for the night off. I've never seen you live until then but I probably watch and rewatch your matches more than anyone else. Anyway being both an animal person and a wrestling fan it turned out to be a win-win!! Also It was probably apparent I was pretty starstruck meeting you. It was a real thrill and I couldn't have chosen a nicer wrestling hero!!! So glad you enjoyed your time in Ohio because you truly made my weekend. I will continue to rock out in my new Death-Rey T-shirt and await your return to our state! Peace Sara!

  6. Oh,by the way I wanted to ask if you or anyone else reading could recommend anything like a "Beyond the Mat" style documentary or book on the current independant women's wrestling scene. As far as I can tell everything out there is from the male end of it. I just started reading Slaphappy which seems exclusive to the guys. Lipstick & Dynamite was great, but it would be cool to see more background and interviews with today's female wrestlers.
