Coming to you for a second time from the step mill! Getting my last workout in of 2010.
What a year its been hu? I've done better this year than the last in terms of wrestling so I'm excited to see what next year will bring. Hopefully something BIG..I feel Im approaching my prime and need that need to be shared with the world!
I have been getting an enormous amount of questions regarding Kong so let me say I have no clue what her WWE status is. Like most of you I hope she is signed, I miss seeing her on tv and she is the one that can change the perception of women's wrestling in America.
Side note..even though I'm on my phone during my workout I'm killing it!
New years resolutions are as follows..stay in better contact with my family, not stress about my diet and getting out and enjoying life while I have it to enjoy. I should resolve to fix my spelling and grammar but maybe next year.
Since the holidays and traveling I have not been able to keep up on my shows and I'm not sure how much I miss them. It's been about two weeks without Regis and Kelly, Wendy and Top Chef..I good the first two were on vacation too. I did YouTube some best of Dorothy Zbornak and Does Nylund to keep me company.
Oh..anyone want to know what I got for Christmas? Besides about 10lbs in glorious cookie weight I got new training shoes, snow shoes, lots o money, goldfish soap and tons of other crap (I mean that in the best way possible) .
My session is almost over so it seems like a good time to wrap this sucker up.
Hope everyone has a super, safe and responsible night!

It's the day before Christmas and I like most are excited beyond belief. I can't believe how quick the end of the year came, looking back it has been one fine year.
Thanks to all of you for the support and encouragement not just to me but independent wrestling everywhere. I promise BIG things in 2011.
I should recap last weeks ROH IPPV event...like I said if you missed it you missed out. Four of the most talented girls around given the freedom to just go out and entertain and I think we did that. I have always been proud to be with ROH but in the last few month I could not be prouder (if that's a word). Even though I murdered chicks left and right none have felt my furry more than Daizee and she keeps coming back. I'm not sure I would have the guts but I look forward to the next chapter and seeing how we fit in.
The kiss.....papa Briscoe is lucky I have a thing for old people! Only the second time someone dared to kiss me in a ring (the first is still eating through a tube). I will say the most insulting part of the ordeal was being thrown out after. I guess that's what a one night stand feels like.
My cardio is just about done so here's wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas and happy New Years!
Thank you 2010!

Currently I am en route home after 3 great days in Louisville. I realized I have not updated you good folks in a ling time so here goes...
Like I said I was in Louisville for ROH tv taping the past Dre days and the shows were great as usual for ROH! I saw tons of action and picked up two wins..that's always a nice treat.
I really like the Louisville area, tons of nice people and Davis arena is a super cool place to work. Not sure if we'll be back but it was something different and that's good every now and then.
This afternoon I defend the japw women's championship and the tweets are correct its against lufisto! I think the fans of philly have a special treat in store.
Tomorrow afternoon its back to the asylum for CHIKARA and Daizee and I are looking to get back in track and kill sone ants!
No much else to update..oh I'm looking forward to Koscheck/GSP...and how can I not profess my LOVE for CM Punk on commentary Monday nights! I have not been excited to watch an entire raw maybe ever but he totally has me tuned in. If you've given up on raw I strongly suggest you hive it another try.
That's it for now if you are in the Philadelphia area come see .me this weekend!

This morning I twitter I said today would be a day of getting stuff done and surprise surprise I did!
My day started with a trip to the grocery store for some fresh fruit! My diet got adjusted the other day and my fruit intake has doubled so I needed to stock up! I am all pumped with the addition of more fruit I also got more nuts! I was like a kid in a candy store in the bulk food isle this morning trying all the nuts to see what was freshest and decided on almonds and walnuts. Side not..I got fresh pecans last week and feel they are too much of an indulgence because they taste like straight buttery goodness.
Back home I cut and washed all my vegetables ( I do this every time I come home from the store so they are ready to go when I need them) and got my cleaning started. I scrubbed my bathroom so good that I didn’t want to use it....and of course once all the litter was swept and freshened the cat decided to make a mess! It’s cool though because the cat and me have gotten really close ever since turning 30 and it just reminded me to let loose a little..Is that confusing? I’ll explain a little…I’m a neat freak that HAS to have everything organized. Normally I would get all huffy and re scoop and clean the litter so it was perfect but I’m living a little and learning to let go.
Next on the agenda gym! I had a rocking back and bicep work out and finished with thirty minutes of cardio that I must say I killed. I was all pumped because I had a treat in store for myself a little later…
Back home for some food and a shower and it was time for my treat..how does the queen of wrestling treat herself your asking…acupuncture!
I’ve never been before but I am all about treating my body right so figured why not? The deal was you can stay as long as you want and figured I would probably be good after twenty minutes but to my surprise I was there over an hour! For those of you that have never gotten it done it’s pretty crazy and hard to describe but I totally dug it and feel great. Two thumbs up!!!!
One last note about today I talked with an old friend from the beginning of my career and I might have some fun pictures to share (depending on how embarrassing they are).
With this blog entry my to do list is just about done….I have the night to enjoy some salmon and the new season of Top Chef all stars.
Hope everyone else was as productive as me today but I’m sure you were not so suck it!

It appears today is the day for an update. I still have tons of energy after the gym…probably because I didn't do cardio (I have Extreme Fitness tonight).
Since we last talked my birthday has come and gone. The actual day I spent mostly in the car..first from Detroit to Toronto then from Toronto home. I did celebrate a little Sunday with homemade pizza and I treated my self to the cookie bar at Wegmans. I still feel the need to splurge but I think its just the season and the anticipation of Thanksgiving. I still have not decided how Thanksgiving is going down but I can guarantee some pumpkin will be had!!!
I got tons of well wishes and amazing gifts and from the bottom of my heart I thank you all!
Last night was the final episode of Top Chef Just Deserts and even though I wanted Morgan to win I liked it as a whole and will be tuning in for the next season…I hope it’s on again. The new all star season of Top Chef is starting soon and I hope they just rotate so once that’s over we get just deserts again. Man, I'm brilliant….
oh let me tell you all about roasted Fava beans…they are soooo delicious. I picked some up today and promptly ate them all If you ever see them in the store pick them up and give them a try you will not be disappointed. I am going to figure out how to make them myself..I got a food dehydrator for my birthday and I experimented the other day but couldn’t find raw fava beans. I tried drying bananas, chick peas and peas..I do not recommend peas but the other two were decent. I am going to try plantains and jerky next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
This weekend is going to be a good one Saturday in Rahway is JAPW and Sunday in Philadelphia CHIKARA. Both shows are always great and I'm sure this weekend will not be different so if your in either area come check out some wrestling and pick up a new Death Rey shirt!!!!
talk to you soon!!!!
Is today the day to blog? Maybe, I was all set to write a little something and I guess that's what I'm doing but this morning I did an interview that got me all typed out.
I have this strange burst of energy now though and should spend it at the gym. So I am off but if I have anything left I'll type up some of my happenings later on this afternoon.
Hope everyone is having a superb day so far.

I am officially thirty! After a restless night I am up and doing cardio before heading to the great white north..man I hope It's not too white yet .
Last night I had a great night with the Kings of Wrestling I'm Detroit, no neither were declared the survivor of the fittest but both had great showing and we all know they deserved to won. Tonight I guarantee victory for them and me!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the shoe especially my number one Jon ;)
Hope to see some of you tonight!

And so it goes on….The final countdown…well, not The Final but you know what I mean.
I know my birthday is going to pass too fast and with the travel I’ll need to keep some sort of schedule but I feel the need to do something completely different with myself on Saturday. Maybe I’ll experiment on Monday…you know change it up, do things out of my comfort zone. I’ll let you know how that turns out!
Hot off the presses in all sizes (s-xl) Black and Gold Deathrey shirts. This will be the last printing of the gun shirt so if you want one now's the time…well not literally now because they are not up in my shop now but will be soon! That’s sounds like another good project for Monday…
What I watched this week:
Besides the normal Housewife's, Top Chef just deserts, Raw, Who’s the boss, Regis and Kelly and the wonderful Wendy Williams I got into Modern family season one and caught my third episode of Glee. I think I need to start with Glee from season one it was enjoyable but I think I am missing some stuff. Now Modern Family is the show! I laugh out loud every episode..For anyone who hasn’t seen it do it. I LOVE all the characters..usually I am on the fence about one but not here. Everyone is great even the kids…I recommend starting at the beginning it was funny right off the bat!
That’s it for now, hope everyone keeps the Veterans in their hearts today and everyday!

I LOVE waking up to that sound and smell! I am so glad I went to the track Tuesday and Wednesday and enjoyed the outside when I could. Next is snow and I am sooooo ready! I have been waiting all year for the show, I was not done with it last year. When even people hear I am from California they ask is I miss the weather, yes I do for the most part but LOVE real winters.
Last week I had off wrestling and it looks like this week I will be off too and I realized I need a hobby or to go back to school. TV is just not a suitable pastime for a soon to be 30 year old. I must say with NXT not being on Tuesday nights I miss it..I know I can watch it on the internet but it is so not the same. I heard Maxine got eliminated this week…I thought she was features a lot so I am a little surprised she got the boot. I feel like this show has been on forever but this is only the second elimination…what's the deal?
One more TV topic…Who’s watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Beverly Hills? Why, I don’t know really what interests me about these shows but I am hooked. So far in BH I do not like Camille the wife of Kelsey Grammer and after googleing them to make sure the names were spelled right WOW. For those of you that like drama they have it..I almost feel bad not liking her now…ahh dilemmas.
Oh man, I should have saved my “one more TV topic” for Top Chef Just Desserts . Maybe another day!
Hope everyone is in the middle a a wonderful week!

The countdown continues…..I’m starting to get excited. Thank you to everyone who has already sent nice things and kind works I have decided I am stoked to be 30! I want the celebration to start today..I guess I can make that happen…celebration party of one! I have never been more pumped so far out, not sure that even made sense but you know what I mean. I need to change the subject though because it’s not even 9 in the morning and I am getting WAY to excited.
Speaking of it being so freakin early, you might ask yourself why I am up on one of my very rare weekends off. Well, you’ll have to take that up with my cat. He insisted 7:30 was the time to play and once I open my eyes and see sunlight I am ready to go. I am not thrilled about this so after minimal attention and grooming for the cat I am here on the computer. The past few days I’ve made a conscience effort to not go online but for no reason other than being lazy..not sure what I was thinking or why I needed to rebel but I did and now I’m paying for it…I had tons of catching up to do.
Most important in my time away from the computer I was able to watch more Las Vegas…and more of Tom Selleck’s mustache! Man, that’s a good one! Is it me or would he have been a FANTASTIC James Bond?
I will leave you all with that thought..oh and Wegman's is the very best grocery store ever!
Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Till I turn thirty! I am not so sure how I feel about this yet but I guess I will figure it out within the next few weeks! On the day of my actual birthday i will be with ROH in Mississauga, Ontario and I cant think of a better place to be ( besides home or at the Shady Maples breakfast smorgasbord ). Anyways it is sure to be a good time and I cant wait for my birthday pie…I am not a big fan of cake. I know its weird because I have a strange fondness for cake shows and I really like looking at cake but if I had a choice between cake or pie its ALWAYS pie.
Other thank that big exciting event I don't have very much going on…I almost feel like between formspring, facebook and Twitter you already know everything about me. Oh…I have a interesting fact for you…within the first hour I am awake I chew about 4 different pieces of gum! Odd or interesting I am sure it’s something no one knew.
While I sit here and type I am mentally running through all the things I need to do today and seeing if I can fit in some Las Vegas. I got Season one on DVD and I am addicted. I should be able to watch some now while I wait for my laundry but I need to make a car appointment for hopefully today and call my dentist and nutritionist ….should not take up too much time right?
I guess I'll get to it then,
Talk to you soon!

This is one of the reasons I dislike computers. Good thing I have handy dandy phone! I don't really have much of an update for you..my week has been typical in the most fantastic way.
I did get pumpkin that I am planning on carving..I'm taking suggestions but will most likely carve a pumpkin cat. I caught a pumpkin carving contest on the food network the other day and I was very inspired.
Hopefully my computer will be fixed by next week so I can give you a proper update and fill you in on my new found favorite tv series Las Vegas!
Have a safe weekend everyone

I woke up early and true to Saturday morning form nothing good was on TV. Lucky me though I got The Secret of Kells in the mail yesterday. I give this movie two huge thumbs up. I am also as you know a cat lover and seriously have you seen a cuter animated cat?
Now I am off to the gym for some functional and can't wait to get it done (my last workout of the week).
The fest of the day I have 0 plans but might go out shopping just so I am not sitting around. Where is your favorite place to shop? I like Marshalls because they always have everything I need, I like one stop for all my fashion and home needs. I am in the market for a new purse so keep our fingers crossed for me.

I am here in Marietta Ohio and can't sleep. Maybe if I got off my phone and shut my eyes I would have better luck but instead I thought I would share with you.
My day started off at 7 am waking up and getting my butt to the airport. After a harmless flight to Charlotte ( a starbuckalicios airport) where I enjoyed...you guessed it some Starbucks. Then it was onto West Virginia and eventually the beautiful city of Marietta.
After settling into my hotel room it was off to the gym with great encouragement from one of the fittest people I have ever meet Stevie Richards. Had a great workout and after a quick shower it was off to the building.
The Remix pro wrestling show was awesome...lots of great people, fans and this...(see picture)
I had such a great time and can't wait to come back.
Now I am in bed watching the Nanny and waiting for my tired to come. I think I will take my own advice and try shutting my eyes.
Good night all
Friday, October 1, 2010
I must have done a few hundred lunges this week but I am happy sore…it makes me feel like I worked hard. I still have lunges today too though so later in the day I might have different feelings. I’m up early so I don't have to rush around before heading to the city four today's ROH TV tapings. Well, that might be a lie. I’m up early because once I wake up and its light out my mind will not let me go back to bed…I get excited for the day…I am a total morning person so I might as well be a productive one too.
Anyone catch Project Runway last night? WOW! Mondo is my favorite and a few weeks ago E! showed clips for the finale and he was not one of the finalists…I was so mad I almost quit watching. Good think I didn't because they were fake finalists (one of them was eliminated tonight), So I am still pulling for my boy Mondo and shame on you E!
This weekend I am heading to Marietta, Oh for some Remix pro wrestling! I will be facing Daffney and I assure you a good fight! If your in the area I hope you can make it!!! I will have my New Death Rey shirts out for sale along with a limited supply of DVD’s and pictures.
For those of you not in the Ohio area tonight I will be in South Philadelphia for ROH tonight. If your interested in seeing the best wrestling on Monday nights taped live come check it out!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend no matter what's on your agenda.
Friday, September 24, 2010
With Cody Rhodes on my TV I am inspired…I think he has one of the best entrances in Pro wrestling!
I guess what you all want to hear about is SHIMMER so I will start Saturday morning at 4:15. I wake up, make a spinach protein shake and I’m on my way to Chicago. The flight is short and I am able to get a little more sleep but I am super pumped to see all the girls and get my wrestling on. After a quick stop at the hotel and Starbucks I arrived at the Berwyn Eagles club. For those of you who have never been in this building it has a certain charm and while walking around the ring I can see myself visiting this place in 30 years and remembering the energy of the SHIMMER crowd. I must be tired!!!!!!!
After catching up with everyone, well at least saying hi, I settle into a space upstairs and begin getting ready. The rest of the day goes by in a flash… I was happy with my matches and my performances and after changing back into my street clothes I am really looking forward to the rest of my coffee now cold (the perfect drinking temperature). DAMN, someone though it was trash and threw it out when I was not looking. I decided to make a mental note for the next day –guard your coffee-!
The next morning I wake up early and convince myself I don't need to do Cardio because i am wrestling so much later in the day. So, I take a stroll to 711 for water and saw that Nikki Roxx was in the gym…oh motivation…I decided to change and throw down with some cardio.
After another stop at Starbucks it was back to the club. Sundays event went well and again I was happy with my matches and performances. This time while changing I set the remainder of my coffee right in front of me so I can keep guard of it. I was all done and packed and for a split second took my eyes off the prize to converse and wouldn't you know it…my coffee was trashed AGAIN! BOOOOO. A huge downer!!!
Monday rolled around and I was off to Florida to wrestle with the Slammin Ladies and as I mentioned before go gator gazing. The wrestling was great as usual but I can not say the same for the gator gazing. When this was first brought up I figured we would be on a nice little tour boat or something..not the case. It was a little canoe that we were responsible for navigating….not a good idea. Needless to say 10 min in my canoe was full of spiders from banging into trees and I was was too close for comfort to gators. This was a supposed to be a two hour trip…I hit every bank, bush and tree along the way and ended up in that stupid little boat for over four hours. I am still waiting for the fun..I was so scared I couldn't even take pictures.
After an exciding trip to Florida it was time to head back to Philadelphia..well actually New Jersey for “War of the Roses” by Indygirlz. I had some catching up to do at the gym so I decided to double up on workouts..maybe not the best idea going into a tournament but I think I did a decent job and losing to Mercedes Martinez in the finals is nothing to be ashamed of.
SUNDAY is finally here and I am so excited to see Manami Toyota again and get to wrestle her as a bonus! This has to be one of my favorite matches of the year!!! Manami was amazing as usual and with the addition of Mike Quackenbush and Claudio Castagnoli I think the dynamic of the match was something real special. The atmosphere in NY was amazing and the people were incredible. I can’t thank CHIKARA enough for making this happen!
This week I have off and to tell you the truth I am stoked. I have housework and gym stuff to catch up on. Not to mention Top Chef and Project Runway….
Oh while I have you here did you see I got a Facebook????? I'm not so sure on how often to update and stuff but I am still trying to work it out so don’t give up on me!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Ugh..I hate losing! None of that today! Even with 4 hours of sleep I will awake the fight in me and like most of yesterday kick butt!
Interesting side note from yesterday:
As brought to my attention by a fan Bryce Remsburg looks just like Claudio Castagnoli...
And speaking of CC congratulations to The Kings of Wrestling for their epic match last night..kings reign supreme!

I'm tanned, toned and ready to fight!
I don’t know who I'm facing and honestly it doesn't matter. Big, small, tall and wide I'll take them all on and most likely win :)
Looking forward to seeing some of you this weekend!
Safe travels everyone!

You stole my heart! I saw a ton of potential and some really interesting characters…I also have not laughed that hard in a long time.
The good: Naomi, she is super athletic and really was the star of the night. Her in ring work in my opinion looked the most smooth out of all the girls..including the pros. Obviously she is still new but I think she could have a very bright future if she wants it. I’m looking forward to watching her grow.
I also really got a kick out of Caitlyn. She had great facial expressions and I thought her interactions with Vicki were very amusing….Vicki if you didn't know is my favorite Diva.
The bad: Why are they always dancing? I’m not even talking about the awkward dance off with the horrible music…I’m talking about on the entrances and when they are just standing in the ring??? As a woman, that makes me instantly HATE them!
The Ugly: It would be easy for me to pick on the ring work so I will go in another direction…I found that some of the rookies resembled Diva they already have in appearance, demeanor and style. For me as a fan this is no good because you have a new girl that is unknown reminding you of an already established star they just look second rate.
I have this game I play it doesn't have a name but it really doesn't need one…..When I’m out and about I find fakes…Like in my Extreme fitness class one of the ladies looks just like Mama Corino so she is fake Mama Corino. Or Claudio insists Hero is the fake guy from Nickleback, one time I saw a fake Awesome Kong but then it turned out to really be her! You get the idea…So to me a few of the rookies looked like fakes and I don’t mean that as a bad or good so maybe it fits into the ugly???
Anyways those were my thoughts..I am really looking forward to the rest of the season, unfortunately I will be out of town and will probably miss next week but I will be gator gazing so be jealous! I will be back live in two weeks watching and discussing the show on twitter with @lagana, should be good times!
One last piece of business in the upcoming events category of my life……Facebook is on the horizon!
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I have a full day ahead of me and should be sleeping but my head is awake so I must follow.
I am exhausted so if this blog is different or off a little please just chalk it up to lack of sleep. Why so tired you ask??? Living the dream, wrestling, traveling and training.
Wednesday morning I boarded a plane to Mexico, after about 9 hours of travel I was in Mexico City meeting up with the promoter and staff for IWL (Independent Wrestling League). The trip was fantastic, match went well and I had the best time/experience I have ever had in Mexico. I lived there and had a lot of good times so that is a bold statement but true! The entire show was good and the main with El Generico vs. Blue Demon was fantastic. My match was so easy I was able to work on my contortion and wrestling with my eyes closed…..
A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the show and the staff of IWL for working so hard, I can’t wait to return!
Friday morning after enjoying the perks of Generico’s elite status with US airways I was heading home…well to CHIKARA for night one of Young Lions Cup.
Though I was running late I made time to stop at Starbucks and get my fuel for the rest of the evening and man did I need that. For those of you who don't follow (you should) Daizee and I faced Quackensaw, probably CHIKARAS best outside of BDK. I would say or biggest match so far in terms of importance and to no surprise at least to me we pulled out the win!!!! I NEVER look forward to seeing my matches back but this one I must admit I am curious about and I hope you are too!
Saturday came and I was on auto pilot, I didn’t have time to catch up on my sleep because I needed to catch up on my workouts. So bright and early I was at the gym doing my thing. I was able to get a great workout in and felt great and ready to tackle the day. I accomplished so much before heading to Indygirlz I was actually proud of myself. That might be a little of the sleep deprivation kicking in but whatever I was happy and doing stuff. I was able to not only workout but do laundry, grocery shop, clean the house, catch up on all my emails, cook all my road food and tan before 3…I know..WOW!
After a short trip to Nj, I was ready for some more wrestling and wrestling I did….instead of the advertised singles match between Sumi Sakai and myself the fans were treated to a 3 way featuring us and Mercedes Martinez! Even with the addition of an opponent I was able to “steal “ the win…Gosh, I AM the Queen of wrestling!!!
3 down and one more to go before I head to California to relax in the sun. This afternoon is the finals to CHIKARA’s 8th annual YLC and my money is on LInce for anyone wondering.
So there it is…my weekend..hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I enjoyed doing it!

Wednesday, August 18, 2010
I figured it was about time to drop some words of wisdom (or ramblings) on you…
AHHH where to start???? I have had the last two weekends off of wrestling and probably should have done something productive but instead I chose to sit around and catch up on my TV. NO, not the entire time I was productive a little…cleaning, laundry, training, oil change, breakfast buffet…wait what??? Yeah that will get discussed in great length later!
While catching up on TV I found a few new shows that I really like… First up American Pickers! This is a show on the History channel, I caught while watching some Pawn Stars. It’s about two dudes that look through peoples crap for antiques…I am not sure what I like so much about the show..I sit in awe of these people that keep so much crap. I am the direct opposite of a pack rat and would go NUTS if I lived near one of these picking sites. I found myself super entertained and recommend it to you.
Next Flipping Out, Yes Bravo you have done it again! I love me some Jeff Lewis (I do wish he didn’t do that to his upper lip but I won’t hold it against him). I feel I would be a great assistant for him and maybe after my wrestling career is over I will go apply.
Those are my newbies added to my already impressive line up of Top Chef, Project Runway, Real housewife's, Rachel Zoe, Cupcake wars, Cake Boss, Pawn Stars and WWE programming.
Now lets get into this Breakfast Buffet….Shady Maples is the place (an Amish smorgasbord) and eating was the name of the game! First Let me say I am still upset with Chris Hero for introducing this into my life, not a day has passed since going that I have not thought about returning. This place had it all…Omelet station, Pancake station with sweet potato, multi grain and regular pancake options with fillings and topping such as fruit and my personal favorite white choc chips, choc chips, cinnamon chips and YES peanut butter chips! They had breads, quiche, potatoes, cereal, fresh fruit, cookies, whoopee pies, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts..I could go on and on. one word A_M_A_Z_I_N_G! I am already making plans for my birthday in November to be spent there!
After indulging I really stepped my workouts up and killed my cardio…I almost feel normal again but it was sooo worth it! After that I was pretty bored with my diet so I switched some stuff around to enjoy my healthy life again. I created this pretty good blueberry, chocolate spinach morning shake and decided I need more peppers and onions in my life. Everything is back on track and I am looking forward to getting back to work this weekend.
I guess many of you heard Adam Pearce has left ROH and is being replaced by Delirious as head booker. This came as a total surprise to me and many others but I am really excited for the change and I have seen how dedicated Delirious is to the school and the promotion so I don’t doubt good things will come of this! Hope you all are as excited as me!!!!!!!
That's all for today, hope you have a good one!
